NOVEMBER 30, 2012: MISS TEEN PENNSYLVANIA PAGEANT COMES TO PITTSBURGH
Landmark is pleased to have handled the security for the Pennsylvania preliminaries for the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants in Pittsburgh. Congratulations to the new Miss Teen Pennsylvania and Miss Pennsylvania, each of whom will represent Pennsylvania on the national stage. Good luck!


NOVEMBER 30, 2012: LANDMARK MANAGER PROFILED IN EQUAL MAGAZINE
Sean Oates, Landmark’s assistant branch manager, was profiled, along with Landmark, in the November issue of Equal Magazine. Sean was cited as an ally to the LGBT community in Western Pennsylvania for his good works in the community as well as Landmark’s services for the annual Pride Parade and other events in Pittsburgh, which has a strong LGBT community. This is not Sean’s first media coverage as he was the focus of a documentary aired on TruTV regarding the operations of the 2009 NFL Kickoff Festivities. NOVEMBER 2, 2012: WARRIORS OPEN SEASON WITH GREAT OPTIMISM
The Golden State Warriors opened their home season today amid great expectations for the young, talented team. Landmark is excited to once again provide services to the Warriors at the Oracle Arena. Good luck for this season. Go Warriors!


OCTOBER 31, 2012: LANDMARK SECURES HAUNTED HOUSE
The Scarehouse, Pittsburgh’s largest interactive Haunted House, retained Landmark for the first time to oversee the security for their month-long event. Landmark is quite pleased that we were not responsible for the shrieks and screams inside!


OCTOBER 30, 2012: LANDMARK CONCLUDES ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SEASON AT THE HARD ROCK PAVILLION
Landmark concluded another successful concert season with Live Nation at the Hard Rock Pavilion in Albuquerque. Once again Landmark provided backstage, front of house security and crowd management for amphitheater shows of all genres. Bands like Primus, Iron Maiden, Pitbull and Toby Keith made their way across the stage at the Hard Rock Pavilion. Congratulations to Brandon Sirochman and his crew for another exciting season!


OCTOBER 28, 2012: THE MLB COMMISSIONER’S TROPHY COMES BACK TO THE BAY
The San Francisco Giants reclaimed the title of World Series Champions for the second time in two years, and once again Landmark was there. The Giants organization called on Landmark assist with the security, crowd management and ticket takers for the NL Playoffs and the World Series. Thanks to Tinie Roberson, Jorge Costa, Sara Hunt and the rest of the Giants organization, and congratulations!


OCTOBER 16, 2012: ELTON JOHN AND BILLIE JEAN KING HAVE SMASH HITS
The 20th anniversary edition of Mylan WTT Smash Hits presented by GEICO was one for the record books, with the event posting a record $1 million for the Elton John AIDS Foundation with a portion of those proceeds benefitting the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force. The event, hosted annually by Sir Elton John and Billie Jean King, has now raised more the $11.5 million to support HIV and AIDS prevention and awareness programs since the first Smash Hits was held in 1993. Landmark is proud to have helped the Petersen Events Center host such a worthwhile event.


OCTOBER 12, 2012: PITT TAKES MIDNIGHT MADNESS TO THE STREETS
The University of Pittsburgh takes Midnight Madness to the streets.” – The Pitt Panthers treated thousands of fans to a preview of what the season holds by setting up a court on the street and allowing them to watch the first practice of the season and participating in the activities. Landmark handled the court security and assisted the University Police with controlling the perimeter and street closures. Fans also enjoyed fireworks in celebration of Pitt’s 225th anniversary.


SEPTEMBER 30, 2012: FIRST NIAGARA PAVILION CONCLUDES ANOTHER GREAT CONCERT SEASON
With more than 20 shows at this outside amphitheater this summer, Landmark once again played a vital role by handling the security and guest services. The amphitheater saw a wide range of concerts including Drake, Dave Mathews, The Warped Tour and Jimmy Buffet. Landmark is proud to serve First Niagara and other Live Nations venues and concerts around the country!


SEPTEMBER 2, 2012: STEELERS SEASON KICKS OFF WITH 23rd ANNUAL COORS LIGHT KICKOFF AND RIBFEST
Landmark is pleased to have once again served the Coors Light Kickoff and Rib Fest –four full days of major concerts, carnival midway, barbeque competitions, a 5K run and youth football training camps, bracketed by both the Steelers v. Carolina and Pitt v. Youngstown State football games. Huge crowds enjoyed all four days and nights. Go Steelers and Pitt!


SEPTEMBER 2, 2012: SNOWY RANGE MUSIC FESTIVAL A BIG HIT
The third annual Snowy Range Music Festival in Laramie, Wyoming was once again a huge success. Landmark has provided crowd management services for each year of the eclectic three-day Labor Day weekend event. Thanks to Carl Gustafson and his team for relying on Landmark to keep the peace!


SEPTEMBER 1, 2012: “WELCOME HOME!” – CAL OPENS NEW MEMORIAL STADIUM
The University of California, Berkeley Golden Bears football team welcomed fans to the historic and newly renovated Memorial Stadium with a game against the University of Nevada. Landmark’s team was in onsite in full force to assist with the Grand Opening by handling all of the security and crowd management needs.


AUGUST 30, 2012: LEGENDARY NASCAR OWNER CALLS ON LANDMARK
Legendary NASCAR Owner Chip Ganassi sought out Landmark’s Pittsburgh branch for his annual “Best of Summer” private event. A gathering with many of the greats from the world of NASCAR was an evening fun and entertainment. Landmark provided the parking services and security for this Black Tie affair.


AUGUST 17, 2012: LANDMARK LIVES WELL WITH THE LIBERTY MILE
The GNC Live Well Liberty Mile – a series of one-mile races through the streets of downtown Pittsburgh — proved to be a great draw. With a $25,000 purse in the open final and $4,000 for each open race, a strong field raced. In addition, separate races for companies and individuals to raise money for charity were held. Landmark is proud to have provided services to this worthy event.


AUGUST 13, 2012: RAIDERS MOVE TO MAGNETOMETERS
The Oakland Raiders and AEG combined to lead the way by making the O.Co Coliseum the first NFL regular season venue to implement walk thru magnetometers at all entry points. When making this progressive decision they called on Landmark to implement the process. Working as a team, all concerned helped to make the initial run a success for the building and the fans. We look forward to similar results all year.


AUGUST 11, 2012: OUTSIDE LANDS MUSIC FESTIVAL CONTINUES TO GROW
Landmark is pleased to have once again successfully services the Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco. Drawing up to 60,000 people per day to Golden Gate Park, this eclectic Music, Food, Wine, Beer and Art festival brings some of the biggest names from all genres of music to the forefront over three days. Landmark’s bay area team played an important role in the event by providing services to the stages, comedy pavilion and VIP areas. Thanks to Christy Feener, Another Planet, Superfly and Starr Hill for including Landmark once again in this exciting event.


AUGUST 10, 2012: SEAFAIR EXTENDS WITH LANDMARK AND HAS ANOTHER GREAT FESTIVAL
Seafair, a Seattle tradition drawing up to 100,000 guests a day to the shores of Lake Washington, has renewed a multi-year deal with Landmark for the provision of crowd management and security services. Upon renewal, Landmark and Seafair had another great festival, with events including the Torchlight Parade, the Milk Carton Derby and the Seafair Triathlon, all topped off by the week-long Hydroplane races. Thanks to everyone at Seafair for relying upon Landmark!


AUGUST 3, 2012: SLUMBER PARTY AT AT&T PARK
Landmark is pleased to have once again provided security services to the San Francisco Giants and AT&T Park for the annual Giants Slumber Party. This wildly popular event allows fans to camp out on the field. The only ones not getting any sleep are the Landmark staff! Thanks again to all concerned for including Landmark.


JULY 30, 2012 : LANDMARK STARTS NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH AEG
Landmark is proud to announce a new partnership with AEG, the new management firm for the O.Co Coliseum and the Oracle Arena. Under the leadership of AEG VP Chris Wright and Director of Events Greg Desharnais, Landmark will dramatically increase its presence at events at the O.Co Coliseum and Oracle Arena, including Oakland Raiders and Golden State Warriors games.


JULY 29, 2012: LANDMARK’S INAUGURAL SEASON AT THE CALIFORNIA STATE FAIR A SUCCESS
Landmark gave a strong performance in its first season of services to the annual California State Fair in Sacramento, California. Landmark’s team proved its mettle with the concert series running from July 12-27. We are looking forward already to 2013!


JULY 26, 2012 : LANDMARK GOES TO CAMP WITH THE RAIDERS
The Oakland Raiders and Landmark have agreed to a new partnership for the Raiders training camp in Napa, California. Landmark will be providing 24 hour security and crowd management during the entire run of the camp. In addition, Landmark will continue to serve the Raiders at their training and office facilities in Alameda, California and provide security for the game-night team hotels. Go Raiders!


JUNE 30, 2012: MLS SOCCER A KICK AT STANFORD STADIUM
The San Jose Earthquakes and L.A. Galaxy played before a packed house at Stanford Stadium during the annual soccer match at the university. Landmark once again made sure the avid soccer fans enjoyed the game and the surroundings. A great time was had by all.


JUNE 23, 2012: LANDMARK SADDLES UP AGAIN FOR RODEO DE SANTA FE
Landmark once again was pleased to have provided the crowd management and security services for the historic Rodeo de Santa Fe in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Led by regional manager Mike Bruton, Landmark’s services and the 63rd annual PCRA event were both a great success.


JUNE 11, 2012: ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL PRIDE PARADE
Once again, Landmark lent a hand to the Pittsburgh Pride Parade, managing the security and crowd management for the record crowds at the premier LGBT community festival in Pennsylvania. Landmark is proud to have contributed to another successful Pride Parade.


MAY 6, 2012: LANDMARK RUNS WITH THE PITTSBURGH MARATHON
Over 25,000 runners participated in the annual Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon through the streets of downtown Pittsburgh. Working with the Pittsburgh Police Department, Landmark is proud to have played a vital role in the implementation of the security and crowd management for the race route along with the athlete staging areas. Congratulations to all involved on another successful year!


June 25, 2012: LANDMARK DIVES INTO OLYMPIC TRIALS
Landmark Event Staffing Services just completed an exceptional run providing crowd management and security services for the 2012 Olympic Diving Trials in Seattle, Washington. Held at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, WA, the week-long event provided dramatic moments for the sell-out crowd. Landmark’s operations were led by VP Operations Grant Haskell and our outstanding Seattle staff. June 23, 2012: JAIME HOPPER NAMED NO. CALIFORNIA ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER
Jaime Hopper, previously an administrative assistant and supervisor in Landmark’s Northern California branch, has been named the Administrative Manager for the branch. Jaime is a recent graduate of San Jose State who has worked for Landmark since 2010. She will manage the administrative operations servicing such clients as Cal Berkeley, the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Stanford University, AT&T Park, Ironstone Amphitheatre, Cal Expo and the Golden State Warriors. June 10, 2012: LANDMARK CONTINUES SUCCESS WITH PITTSBURGH PRIDE PARADE
For the third straight year, Landmark was the provider of choice for the 2012 Pittsburgh Pride Awareness March and Pride Fest held throughout Pittsburgh, PA. The boisterous crowd enjoyed the march, festival and the Pride in the Street concerts headlined by Melissa Etheridge. A great time was had by all. May 23, 2012: LANDMARK RECEIVES MULTI-YEAR RENEWAL WITH CAL ATHLETICS
Landmark Event Staffing Services is thrilled to announce that our service contract with the University of California, Berkeley has been renewed in a long-term deal that assures Landmark will be a key component of the Cal Athletic Department’s Customer Service Initiative being developed for the long-anticipated opening of the remodeled Memorial Stadium. Landmark has served Cal Athletics and other departments on the campus since 2006. May 23, 2012: NICK BERMENSOLO NAMED NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER
Landmark is pleased to announce that Nick Bermensolo has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager in Landmark’s Northern California branch. Nick will serve such Landmark clients as UC Berkeley, the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Stanford University, San Francisco Giants and Ironstone Amphitheatre. Prior to moving to the Bay Area, Nick served as Landmark’s Operations Manager in our Pittsburgh, PA branch. May 22, 2012: LANDMARK RENEWS CONTRACT WITH LIVE NATION AND FIRST NIAGARA PAVILION
Landmark Event Staffing Services is pleased to announce Live Nation Worldwide has extended its agreement with Landmark’s Pittsburgh, PA branch to provide security and event staff services to the First Niagara Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA. May 19, 2012: ZUMIEZ COUCH TOUR ONCE AGAIN RETAINS LANDMARK After a successful 2011 operation in Denver serviced by Landmark Event Staffing Services, the Zumiez Couch Tour, a growing national skateboarding and concert tour, has retained Landmark for three stops on the 2012 tour. May 1, 2012: EDNA FOX JOINS LANDMARK TEAM Landmark is pleased to announce that Edna Fox, a sports and entertainment industry veteran with extensive experience in human resources, training, staffing and major event credentialing, has joined Landmark as our Director of Corporate Administration. Edna will work with Landmark branches and clients to coordinate local personnel, hiring and training matters. She will report to VP Administration Beth Kranske. Most recently, Edna has worked with Populous in their credentialing operations for such events as the Super Bowl and NCAA Final Fours. Edna will continue her relationship with Populous while working with Landmark.


April 30, 2012: LANDMARK MAKES HEADLINES LENDING A HAND AT UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH CRISIS Landmark Event Staffing Services was featured on the front page of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for the security procedures we provided for the 2012 University of Pittsburgh Graduation. This event followed a tumultuous period of two months on the campus during which over 100 bomb threats had been received. Prior to the graduation ceremony, Landmark also received commendations for our professionalism and comforting manner securing three major buildings and providing searches during the University of Pittsburgh’s finals week to ensure no evacuations were needed. April 15, 2012: LANDMARK COMPLETES ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL RUN WITH CIRQUE DU SOLEIL Once again, Landmark’s Pittsburgh office successfully served the highly-popular Cirque du Soleil, this time for a multi-night performance of the Cirque du Soleil: Michael Jackson Immortal world tour at the Petersen Events Center. This follows Landmark’s six weeks of full-time coverage with security and event staff for the Cirque du Soleil: Totem tour in Pittsburgh through 2011. CONVENTION CENTER HOSTS NEW MEXICO INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW
The Albuquerque Convention Center and SMG once again was the host of the New Mexico International Auto Show, held April 12-15. Landmark Event Staffing Services provided the event staffing services as part of the recent contract under which Landmark is the exclusive provider of event security for the Albuquerque Convention Center.


April 14, 2012: LANDMARK DONATES SERVICES TO 17TH ANNUAL HOOPS FOR A CURE Once again Milt Arenson of FMI held his annual “Hoops for a Cure” at Chartiers Valley High School in Bridgeville, PA. As always, the funds for this exceptional event benefit the Nathan S. Arenson Fund for Pancreatic Cancer Research. March 30, 2012: PITT MEN’S BASKETBALL WINS CBI CHAMPIONSHIP The University of Pittsburgh’s Men’s Basketball team won the College Basketball Invitational title with a 71-65 victory over Washington State before an enthusiastic crowd at the Petersen Events Center on March 30. Landmark managed the event staffing and security for each of the four home games hosted by Pitt during the post-season tournament. Congratulations to the Panthers on their championship!


March 30, 2012: LANDMARK PREPARES FOR 2012 NCAA MEN’S BASKETBALL FINAL FOUR IN NEW ORLEANS A full year of planning and preparation will culminate in Landmark again serving the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four in New Orleans. For the third straight year Landmark and its expert team of managers and supervisors, led by Pete Kranske, will be the security consultants to the NCAA for the Final Four at the Superdome as well as the ancillary events held throughout the weekend in New Orleans. February 25, 2012: LANDMARK MAKES ANOTHER SPLASH WITH THE PAC-12 — NCAA SOON TO COME!

Continuing its service to the Pac-12 Conference, which began as the security consultant to the inaugural Pac-12 Football Championships, Landmark provided the crowd management and security services for the Pac-12 Women’s Swimming Championships and the Pac-12 Men’s and Women’s Diving Championships February 23-25 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, WA. Thanks to Chris Dawson and Theo Robertson of the Pac-12 Conference for relying on Landmark for their championship needs. Landmark will be continuing its aquatic services at the same venue for the NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships to be held March 22-24, 2012.


February 19, 2012: PITT HOSTS BIG EAST SWIMMING AND DIVING COMPETITIONS

The University of Pittsburgh was the host for the 2012 Big East Swimming and Diving competitions at the Trees Pool Complex, February 10-18. This was the 16th time the Trees Pool has hosted this event. Landmark, led by Pittsburgh branch manager Paul Meyer, provided security and guest services personnel for the entire competition, at which numerous records were set. Pitt’s men’s team placed third and the women’s team fourth in the competition. Notre Dame won the men’s competition and Louisville triumphed in the women’s category. Congratulations to all concerned for a successful event!


February 8, 2012: LANDMARK SUPER BOWL OPERATIONS WIN BIG IN INDY!

Landmark once again provided world-class security services to the NFL for Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis, Indiana. Led by Operations Vice Presidents Mark Kranske and Grant Haskell, Landmark successfully expanded its Super Bowl services in 2012, adding the VIP venue the NFL House to its roster of responsibilities. January 31, 2012: LANDMARK POSTS ANOTHER PRO BOWL SUCCESS!

Landmark’s team of transportation and parking experts, led by Chris Hagerty and Mark Rausch, returned to Honolulu for another successful Pro Bowl operation. Responsible for the planning, logistics and execution of transportation and parking for the players, media, sponsors and NFL executives before, during and after the Pro Bowl game, as well as Aloha Stadium parking during the game itself, Landmark once again proved its ability to handle even the most complicated logistics. November 26, 2011: Landmark to Lead Security and Transportation Operations for Inagural Pac-12 Championships

The Pac-12 Conference has named Landmark Event Staffing Services as the official security and transportation consultants for the inaugural Pac-12 Championship football game, to be held at Autzen Stadium on the University of Oregon campus. Landmark will oversee security operations, led by Pete Kranske. The transportation and parking operations will also be overseen by Landmark, led by Chris Hagerty. Thanks to Pac-12 Championships consultant Jim Steeg and Commissioner Larry Scott for relying on Landmark for their inaugural event.


November 12, 2011: Landmark Awarded Albuquerque Convention Center Contract

Landmark Event Staffing Services has been awarded the event security contract for the Albuquerque Convention Center, as announced by SMG, the venue’s management firm. The award of services to a single company is a first for the ACC. Landmark will report to the ACC’s General Manager, Lewis Dawley, Director of Operations Jose Garcia and Director of Sales and Event Services Kelly Carr. Landmark’s team is led by New Mexico regional manager Mike Bruton and an exceptional crew of supervisors.


September 30, 2011: Landmark Caps Off a Great Summer Concert Season

Landmark is winding down another big summer concert season for 2011 with great success. Across the country Landmark provided services to major concerts and music festivals, including just about every major act that toured this year. Some of the shows included such major tours as U2, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. Touring festivals such as Warped Tour, Mayhem, Identity Fest, Uproar and the Further Tour were served at multiple venues by Landmark. We also served large one-site music festivals such as the Outside Lands Festival, the All-Good Festival, the Snowy Range Music Festival, Oakland Jazz Festival, Bumbershoot at EMP and Thunder in the Rockies. September 8, 2011: Landmark Enjoys Another Successful NFL Kickoff in Green Bay

The annual NFL Kickoff Festivities were held this year at and around Lambeau Field, the home of the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers. For the third straight year Landmark Event Staffing Services was tapped by the NFL to lead the event security for the Kickoff events. Landmark was overseen by NFL Chief Security Officer Jeff Miller and NFL Security’s Dan Grossi. Landmark’s team, led by VP’s of Operations Mark Kranske and Grant Haskell, were involved in all activities surrounding the opening game, including the concert headlined by Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum and Maroon 5. September 5, 2011: Bumbershoot Music Festival at EMP a Great Success

Landmark Event Staffing Services was selected by the Experience Music Project in Seattle to provide event staffing services during the annual Bumbershoot Music Festival. September 5, 2011: Snowy Range Music Festival a Second Year Success

Landmark Event Staffing Services once again provided exceptional event staff and security services to the 2nd Annual Snowy Range Music Festival, a multi-day, multi-genre music event in Laramie, Wyoming. Landmark was led by our Wyoming Branch Manager Glen Freeman and his strong team of supervisors. Thanks to Festival Director Carl Gustafson for once again relying on Landmark for his shows.


September 1, 2011: Beth Kranske named Vice President of Administration

Landmark is pleased to announce Beth Kranske has accepted the position of Vice President of Administration. Beth will have oversight of all national and branch administrative activities. A graduate of Drake University, where she majored in business management and marketing, Beth also lettered four years on the Drake volleyball team. She joined Landmark in July, 2007 as the assistant manager of our Colorado branch and soon thereafter began working with company billing and payroll operations nationwide. Beth is based out of Landmark’s home office in Ft. Collins, Colorado.


August 28, 2011: Landmark Enjoys Another Successful Boeing Classic PGA Champions Tour Event

The popular Boeing Classic PGA Champions Tour Event was played this year at the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge near Seattle. Once again Landmark Event Staffing Services was the event staff and security provider for the event, which proved to be a great success for all concerned – particularly champion Mark Calcavecchia, who won in an exciting playoff finish. Thanks to all concerned with the Boeing Classic, especially Director of Operations Joe Sirlin, for relying on Landmark for their event staffing needs.


August 14, 2011: Outside Lands Music Festival

Landmark Event Staffing Services is proud to have been a big part of the event staffing at the 2011 Outside Lands Music Festival, the three day music, food, wine and art festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park which draws over 60,000 people per day. Landmark was led by our VP Operations Grant Haskell and our Northern California Branch Manager Scott Hadden. Thanks go out to Christy Feener and the entire team from Outside Lands.


August 10, 2011: Seafair Again a Great Success – Landmark Receives a Contract Extension

The 2011 Seafair festivities, a staple of Seattle life for over half a century, was a great success for all concerned. Once again the event staffing and security for the week-long event, which draws up to 100,000 people per day, was provided by Landmark Event Staffing Services. Landmark’s operations were led by VP Operations Grant Haskell, with oversight from Seafair’s President, Beth Knox, and its VP Eric Corning. Additionally, Landmark is excited to announce that our contract has been extended for three more years-we are proud to be a part of the Seafair family.


September 8, 2011: Landmark Enjoys Another Successful NFL Kickoff in Green Bay

The annual NFL Kickoff Festivities were held this year at and around Lambeau Field, the home of the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers. For the third straight year Landmark Event Staffing Services was tapped by the NFL to lead the event security for the Kickoff events. Landmark was overseen by NFL Chief Security Officer Jeff Miller and NFL Security’s Dan Grossi. Landmark’s team, led by VP’s of Operations Mark Kranske and Grant Haskell, were involved in all activities surrounding the opening game, including the televised concert headlined by Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum and Maroon 5. Thanks to all our team and the NFL for a successful event.


May 15, 2011: Landmark renews UC Berkeley Contract!

Landmark Event Staffing Services is excited to announce that its Agreement with UC Berkeley to provide crowd management and security services for Cal Athletics has been extended. Landmark has provided exceptional services to Cal Athletics, along with many other campus departments, since 2006. Landmark thanks Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour, Deputy Director of Athletics Steve Holton, Assistant AD Gordon Bayne, Event Managers Gloria Kaci and Nicole Strange and the rest of the Cal staff for making Landmark a part of the Cal team. May 11, 2011: Landmark Congratulates Stage AE on a successful outdoor opening!

Stage AE, the new state of the art indoor/outdoor amphitheatre on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, opened its first outdoor season with a successful sold-out show by Social Distortion. The show, which was originally scheduled for the indoor stage but moved outside due to demand, was recorded for future airing on television. Landmark is proud to be a part of the Stage AE success and looks forward to the many shows scheduled in the future.


May 1, 2011: Nick Bermensolo added to Pittsburgh operations team

Landmark Event Staffing Services is pleased to announce Nick Bermensolo has been named Operations Manager for Landmark’s Pittsburgh, PA branch. After he received his Masters in Sports Administration from Belmont University (where he served as the media liaison for the 2008 Presidential Debate), Nick was a Facility Operations Technician with Populous (formerly HOK Sport). During his time there Nick was responsible for benchmarking building operations and guest services for 15 professional arenas, 16 professional stadiums and 6 Division I University facilities, as well as such events as the 2010 MLS All-Star game, the Breeders Cup at Santa Anita and Super Bowl XVI in Dallas, Texas. Nick will be serving Landmark clients including Heinz Field, the Pittsburgh Steelers, University of Pittsburgh, First Niagara Pavilion, Duquesne University and Stage AE.


April 25, 2011: Jaime Santoyo added to Northern California operations

Landmark Event Staffing Services is pleased to announce Jaime Santoyo has been named Operations Manager for Landmark’s Pittsburgh, PA branch. A graduate of the sports management program at St. Mary’s College of California, Jaime spent three years working in the facilities services and intercollegiate operations departments at St. Mary’s before taking a position with UC Berkeley. At Cal, Jaime worked on game day operations for Cal football, women’s basketball and men’s and women’s soccer, with oversight of contractors and student staff. Jaime will be serving Landmark clients including the Oakland Raiders, UC Berkeley, AT&T Park, San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Stanford University and Ironstone Amphitheatre.


April 20, 2011: Mark Kranske named VP Operations

Mark Kranske, Landmark’s Pittsburgh Branch Manager, has been promoted to Vice President-Operations, where he will share oversight of Landmark’s branch operations with current Vice President-Operations Grant Haskell. Mark will retain oversight of the Pittsburgh office and share responsibility for branch operations throughout the country, as well as Landmark’s special events work for clients and events including the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, NFL Kickoff Event, NHL Special Events and the NCAA Final Four.


April 20, 2011: Paul Meyer named Pittsburgh Branch Manager

Paul Meyer has been named Branch Manager of Landmark Event Staffing Services’ Pittsburgh, PA office. Moving from the Director of Operations position in the same branch, Paul will oversee the branch operations and field operations for such clients as Heinz Field, the Pittsburgh Steelers, University of Pittsburgh, First Niagara Pavilion, Duquesne University and Stage AE.


April 5, 2011: Landmark Scores NCAA Final Four Success

Landmark Event Staffing Services, led by President Pete Kranske, completed our second year as the security consultant to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four with a successful operation in Houston. Landmark’s team of consultants provided oversight for the four team operations, the Big Dance and Bracket Town, and command post operations. Thanks to Greg Shaheen, NCAA Interim Executive Vice President of Championships and Alliances, and the rest of the NCAA staff for making Landmark a part of the NCAA team. April 1, 2011: Landmark Renews with Live Nation and First Niagara
Pavilion

Landmark Event Staffing Services is excited to announce that its Agreement with Live Nation to provide crowd management and security services for the 23,000 capacity First Niagara Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA has been extended. Landmark has provided exceptional services to Live Nation since 2007. Thanks to General Manager Mike Gentille and Senior VP Tom Mendenhall for their teamwork and support.


There’s nothing like hockey played outdoors, and Landmark Event Staffing Services was proud to be an important part of the National Hockey League’s Winter Classic.

April 8, 2011 — Landmark adds new University of Pittsburgh Sports Facilities to our roster.
Landmark’s Pittsburgh branch is proud to announce that the University of Pittsburgh has retained Landmark Event Staffing Services as the security and customer services provider for its new multi-facility, state of the art on-campus sports development, the Petersen Sports Complex.
The Petersen Sports Complex is a state of the art sport facility that allows baseball, softball and soccer games to occur simultaneously in the same facility. With a capacity exceeding 2,000 spectators (Baseball (900) / Soccer (735) / Softball (600)), the complex gives Panther fans the opportunity to attend multiple games at once, providing the ultimate fan experience.
Paul Klaczak, the Associate Athletic Director in charge of all events and operations for the new complex, is excited about Landmark adding these responsibilities. He feels that Landmark isn’t just guest relations and security, but much more than that, referring to our staff as “Fan Ambassadors.”

Landmark already provides security, event staffing and other guest services to the University of Pittsburgh at Heinz Field, the Petersen Events Center and at other campus events. The addition of the new facilities is a reflection of Landmark’s strong relationship with the university and the high standards of excellence in customer service that Landmark has provided to Panther athletics and campus events.


March 15, 2011 — Landmark scores double victory with Pro Bowl and Super Bowl services

Landmark Event Staffing Services is pleased to announce the successful completion of operations for 2011 Pro Bowl in Honolulu, HI and Super Bowl XLV in Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX. Landmark started the double header with our Pro Bowl transportation consulting operations in Honolulu. Under the aegis of Frank Supovitz and Maria Franklin of the NFL, Landmark’s team, led by Chris Hagerty and Mark Rausch, flawlessly executed the transportation and parking plans during game week and game day. Immediately following the Pro Bowl, Landmark’s Super Bowl security team went into action in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Our Super Bowl team, led by Grant Haskell and Mark Kranske, as well as Sean Oates/Travis Garcia (AFC) and Mike Bruton/Scott Hadden (NFC), excelled in managing the security services for both team hotels, practice sites, parties and ancillary Super Bowl functions, and the Taste of the NFL. Thanks go out to Jim Sacco, Rob Thompson and Omar Khan of the Pittsburgh Steelers; Doug Collins and his staff with the Green Bay Packers; Max Kittel and Craig Warren with the Taste of the NFL; Milt Ahlerich, Bob hast and the entire NFL Security team; and the Ft. February, 2011 — Landmark adds St. Mary’s college to our roster!
Landmark is excited to announce it has been retained as the contracted event security provider to St. Mary’s College of California in Moraga, CA. St.Mary’s is an outstanding institution well known for its sports success, particularly in the NCAA basketball tournament. Landmark will be directed by Reuben Greenwald of St. Mary’s, and our operations will be headed by Scott Hadden and Eric Dellich of our Northern California branch.


January 1, 2011: Landmark scores with 2011 NHL Winter Classic!

The 2011 NHL Winter Classic held at Heinz Field was a great success for all concerned. Landmark Event Staffing Services provided the crowd management and event staffing services for the game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitols and all ancillary events during the preceding week. Under the auspices of NHL Sr. VP of Events Don Renzulli, Landmark excelled in providing exceptional guest services to all aspects of the event, even without the cooperation of the weather, which caused the game to be moved to prime time. Thanks to all of Landmark’s staff and supervisors for their flexibility and dedication!


December 3, 2010: Landmark opens Stage AE Amphitheatre!

Landmark Event Staffing Services has been named the exclusive crowd management provider for the new Stage AE entertainment complex in Pittsburgh, PA. Located adjacent to Heinz Field, Stage AE is a state of the art indoor/outdoor concert venue, featuring a 5,500 capacity outdoor amphitheatre, 2,400 capacity indoor concert venue and a 400 capacity club venue. President Scott Stienecker anticipates the complex will host more than 150 events in the first year alone.


November 1, 2010: Landmark congratulates the San Francisco Giants on winning the 2010 World Series!

October 1, 2010—Landmark awarded Event Staffing services contract for Duquesne University’s A.J. Palumbo Center

Landmark Event Staffing Services, Inc. is pleased to announce it has been awarded a multi-year Event Staffing services contract for the A.J. Palumbo Center at Duquesne University. Landmark will report directly to David DiPietro, Executive Director and Scott Richards, Assistant Director, of Duquesne’s Auxiliary Services and the A.J. Palumbo Center. Guest Services personnel will be providing exemplary service to Duquesne students and fans at NCAA Men’s and Women’s basketball, Volleyball, concerts and special events at the A.J. Palumbo Center.

Duquesne is the latest NCAA Division I school to be added to the Landmark roster. Landmark also brings its “Client-friendly, Fan-friendly, Employee-friendly” crowd management, guest services and security to such major universities as UC Berkeley, Stanford University, Colorado State University, the University of Wyoming and the University of Pittsburgh.

Landmark’s Pittsburgh office also serves such clients as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Heinz Field, the University of Pittsburgh, the Petersen Events Center, Live Nation and the First Niagara Pavilion.


July 1, 2010 – Glen Freeman named Wyoming Branch Manager
Glen Freeman has been appointed to the position of manager of Landmark’s Wyoming branch. Glen is a graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and six years of experience in the crowd management industry. While a student, Glen supervised event set-up and tear-down, crowd management, concession, and parking activities for Slippery Rock football, basketball, and baseball events. He also worked in the security operations for the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park, where he was responsible for the enforcement of searches, ballpark policies and alcohol enforcement.

Glen came to the Landmark’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office in early 2008 in a Supervisory capacity at the Post-Gazette Pavilion and subsequently at Heinz Field, where he had oversight of staff at all Press Box, Suite and VIP functions, including Pittsburgh Steelers and University of Pittsburgh football. He also had supervisory oversight of University of Pittsburgh events, including NCAA Division I basketball, at the Petersen Events Center. Glen also has acquired extensive experience handling dispatch for concerts and football games. He recently managed some of Landmark’s operations during the recent G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh, and worked with Landmark at the 2010 Super Bowl and Pro Bowl security operations in Miami, Florida.
Based in Laramie, Glen will have responsibility for Landmark’s operations at the University of Wyoming.


June 29, 2010 – Landmark awarded services contract for University of Wyoming Athletics

Landmark is pleased to announce we have been awarded an exclusive multi-year agreement to provide crowd management, security and event staffing services for the University of Wyoming. Landmark will be providing services for Cowboy athletic events and special events starting with the 2010 football and volleyball seasons. Landmark’s on-site operations will be handled by Wyoming Branch Manager Glen Freeman, with the oversight of longtime industry veteran Chris Hagerty.


June 20, 2010 — Landmark’s services to the University of Pittsburgh expanded
The University of Pittsburgh recently expanded the scope of services provided by Landmark Event Staffing Services to include event staffing and security for all athletic events on campus. Landmark already provides services to the University of Pittsburgh football games at Heinz Field and all events at the Petersen Events Center on campus.


June 10, 2010 — Landmark to coordinate 2010 NFL Kickoff events in New Orleans
Following Landmark’s successful management of the crowd management services for the 2009 NFL Kickoff Events in Pittsburgh, the NFL has retained Landmark to manage the festivities for the 2010 NFL Kickoff Events in New Orleans. Landmark also provides team, practice site, hotel and ancillary event security for the annual NFL Super Bowl and the 2010 Pro Bowl in Miami and transportation coordination for the Pro Bowl and related events in Honolulu.


June 5, 2010– Landmark awarded services contract at Thunder Mountain Amphitheatre

Landmark is pleased to announce we have been retained to provide event staffing services for the Thunder Mountain Amphitheatre in Loveland, Colorado. Landmark will provide services for major concert acts throughout each season. Landmark’s operations will be overseen by our Colorado branch, with Travis Garcia leading the team.


May 15, 2010– Eric Dellich named Northern California Assistant Branch Manager
Eric Dellich has been appointed to the position of assistant manager of Landmark’s Northern California branch. Eric is returning to the bay area after serving as the assistant manager for Landmark’s Pittsburgh, PA operations since 2008. In Pittsburgh, Eric had oversight of clients such as Heinz Field, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the University of Pittsburgh Athletics, and the Post-Gazette (now First Niagara) Pavilion.

A graduate of Slippery Rock University’s Sport Management program, Eric began as an intern for Landmark in Pittsburgh, PA at the Post-Gazette Pavilion. He initially had responsibilities for interviewing and recruiting employees, office operations, and assisted the Branch Manager in the initial training of employees. Eric also served as an Event Supervisor during concerts at the Post-Gazette Pavilion and operated as the point man for dispatch who responded to any incidents. He was the Event Manager for concerts at the Byham and Benedum Theaters. He also oversaw Landmark’s contracted security operations for the 2009 G-20 Economics Summit and was a key part of Landmark’s Super Bowl security operations in 2009 and 2010, and Pro Bowl operations in 2010.

Eric initially moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2007, where he was responsible for the preparation of Landmark’s services at the 2007 MLB All Star Game and was Landmark’s recruiting coordinator for the Raiders and Cal football seasons. Eric also travelled to Colorado to work the Colorado State football games and serve as the Event Manager for the CSU Basketball games. He was eventually named Director of Operations in the Northern California office and worked on a wide range of sports events, concerts, festivals and other special events, including Kenny Chesney at AT&T Park. He also had oversight of Landmark’s UCPD Special Events operations under Lt. Doug Wing, including the majority of the duration of the 21-month Oak Grove protest twenty-four hour coverage at Memorial Stadium.


May 1, 2010 – Landmark awarded services contract for Ironstone Amphitheatre

Landmark is pleased to announce we have been awarded an exclusive multi-year agreement to provide event staffing services for the Ironstone Amphitheatre in Murphys, California. The historic Ironstone Vineyards is the location of this beautiful 6,000 capacity amphitheatre in the California Gold Country. Landmark will provide services for major concert acts throughout each season, including such acts as Faith Hill, ZZ Top, Crosby, Stills & Nash, BB King and others. Landmark’s operations will be overseen by our Northern California branch, with John Crabtree leading the on-site supervison team.


March 1, 2010 – Sean Oates and Paul Meyer named Pittsburgh Directors of Operations

Landmark Event Staffing Services has named Sean Oates and Paul Meyer to the positions of Director of Operations in the Pittsburgh branch, where they will share client and field responsibilities in the Western Pennsylvania region.

Paul brings to Landmark an extensive background of event management experience. Prior to coming to Landmark, Paul worked in crowd management in Denver, where he served as the Event Manager for all Air Force Academy sports events in Colorado Springs and the Denver Broncos training camp, as well as an area director for the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. He also served in a managerial or supervisory capacity for Colorado State University athletics, the Denver Coliseum, Bandimere Speedway, Taste of Colorado, the Cherry Creek Art Festival and Invesco Field at Mile High.

Sean began his career in event staffing and crowd management in 1993 at Star Lake Amphitheatre in Pennsylvania after having worked with a variety of local and regional touring acts as personal security. Sean began as event staff and quickly moved up the ladder through supervisor, lead supervisor, staff manager, and assistant Head of Security. In this time Sean also assisted with security and staff management for select tours at amphitheatres in Ohio, New Jersey, North Carolina and West Palm Beach, Florida.

Sean’s concert experience in the past fifteen years encompasses every major touring artist to date, including The Who, Van Halen, Jimmy Buffett, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Green Day, Janet Jackson and multiple Ozzfests, Lillith Fairs, Lollapaloozas, and Warped Tours. Sean was also instrumental in the staffing and management of the live Farm Aid concert and broadcast from the Post-Gazette Pavilion. Sean is also active in Special Olympics in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, serving on its Board of Directors as Volunteer Coordinator and playing a prominent role in staging county events in all Olympic Sports for hundreds of mentally and physically challenged athletes at a variety of venues and stadiums.

Sean and Paul will oversee the operations for Landmark clients including the Pittsburgh Steelers, University of Pittsburgh, SMG Pittsburgh, Live Nation Pittsburgh, Heinz Field, the Petersen Events Center and First Niagara Pavilion.


September 30, 2009 – Scott Hadden named Northern California Branch Manager

Scott Hadden has been appointed to the position of manager of Landmark’s Northern California branch. Scott brings to the position an exceptional resume as am event security supervisor, manage and director, as well as extensive experience as a national and international rock tour security director.

Prior to coming to Landmark, Scott served such clients as the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Denver Broncos, Six Flags/Elitch Gardens, the Coachella Music Festival, Vans Warped Tour, Summer Sanitarium Tour, and the Fray. He also provided services for Super Bowls XX and XLIV and the 2005 NBA All-Star Jam. At Landmark, Scott is responsible for such clients as UC Berkeley, the Oakland Raiders, the Oakland Coliseum and Oracle Arena/SMG, the San Francisco 49ers, Stanford University, AT&T Park, Ironstone Amphitheatre and Thunder Valley Amphitheatre. He has also been a key part of Landmark’s management team at Super Bowl XLIV,the 2010 Pro Bowl in Miami and the 2009 NFL Kickoff Weekend in Pittsburgh.
